Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club Review
I was very impressed with this attraction. I was a little worried that this was
going to be a show that was just kind of thrown together just so they could have something open in the old Timekeeper building but
I think Disney did a good job with this.
The technology is pretty impressive. OK so there's no aminimatronics but not only do
you hear the monsters talking to you in improvisational fashion but they're animated to coincide with what they're saying. That seems
like that's a lof work but it's impressive.
The show was definitely funny. And the theming of the show area was done well also.
It kind of reminded me of being back at the Comedy Warehouse in Downtown Disney.
As many of you have probably heard by now, you
have the ability to text a joke while you are in the waiting queue. This is pretty neat. Now the show that we attended only featured
3 jokes and I'm sure there are quite a few people that texted them in (myself included). So there's probably a good chance that your
joke will not be chosen but if it is you're certainly in for a real treat. I recommend texting one in if you can. And that's all I'll
say about that because I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen it yet..
All in all....I like the attraction
and plan on doing this one quite a few more times.
Hidden Mickey spotted on "The Seas with Nemo and Friends" ride
During my trip
last weekend I decided to get up early and leave my wife at the hotel to sleep in while I went to check out the rope drop at Epcot.
After the rope drop I headed for "The Seas with Nemo and Friends" (while about 50,000 headed for "Soarin') to check out a Hidden Mickey
I had heard about from Steve Barrett.
This Hidden Mickey is in the queue line when you first enter the "underwater" portion of
the queue.
If you look up as soon as you enter you'll see 3 ripples that are accented by spotlights that form the classic Mickey head
and ears.
I was able to get to track down a picture of it for the purpose of the shownotes.
