You can get some great shots of the Haunted Mansion in WDW by taking shots of it from across the Rivers of America.
If you can get Polly's Dockside Diner in the picture along with it, that makes for a great shot also.
Another great place to
get a shot of the Mansion is from the Liberty Bell Riverboat.
If you're trying to get a shot of you and your family you can utilize
the Photopass photographers in the park. They will take a picture of you and/or your family with your camera so you don't necessarily
have to pay for the photo.
Using Flash isn't always the best thing to use for nighttime photo shots. Many times flash will overpower
the stage or prop lighting and you may not see the picture the way it actually appears in person. So you may want to try the show
without flash or with a "nighttime portrait" setting if you have one on your camera.
